Here are a few stories that we can share

Facebook Post June 18, 2024

At Mama Cleo's Boys Home, our mission is to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for boys who have faced severe hardships. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive, regardless of background or identity.

Recently, two concerns have been raised. The LGBTQ+ community is concerned about the church attended by Mama Cleo's Boys, specifically its stance on LGBTQ+ issues and that we post pictures of our bible study. We want to address these concerns directly and reaffirm our commitment to inclusivity and respect for all individuals.

Mama Cleo's Boys Home is a welcoming and inclusive organization. We embrace diversity in all its forms and are committed to providing a supportive environment where everyone—regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, or religion—is valued and respected. Our primary focus is the well-being of the boys, and we strive to create an atmosphere of love, acceptance, and understanding.

Our community's strength lies in its diversity, and we have volunteers from the LGBTQ+ community. We invite all individuals to join us in supporting these boys. Whether you are volunteering your time, making a donation, or offering your expertise, your contribution is invaluable. Together, we can positively impact the lives of these young boys, helping them become compassionate and contributing members of society.

There are comments that Mama Cleo's Boys Home is in good financial health. However, we want to be transparent: we are struggling to meet our basic financial needs. Currently, we do not have the necessary funding to provide balanced, nourishing meals, maintain our vehicles, or offer essential sporting activities and educational opportunities.

Unlike many organizations, we do not receive financial assistance from the government for our operating costs. We rely entirely on the generosity of our community to continue our vital work. Without your support, we cannot meet the daily needs of the boys in our care.

Here’s how you can help:

1. Donate: Any amount, big or small, will make a significant difference. Your contributions go directly towards ensuring the boys receive nutritious meals, safe transportation, and opportunities to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.

2. Become a Monthly Supporter: Regular donations provide us with the stability we need to plan and maintain our programs effectively. Join our Monthly Giving Circle and make a lasting impact on the lives of these boys.

3. Spread the Word: Share this message with your friends, family, and social networks. The more people who know about our needs, the greater our chances of receiving the support required to continue our mission.

Your support is not just a donation; it’s a lifeline for these boys. It’s an investment in their future and in the betterment of our community. Together, we can ensure that Mama Cleo's Boys Home remains a place of love, healing, and hope.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us. We are committed to ongoing dialogue and ensuring that Mama Cleo's Boys Home remains a place of inclusivity and respect for all as well as our finances are transparent. Our finances are on our website https://www.mamacleosboys.org/finances

Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and unwavering support.
